Hi! My name is Stacy Flanary and I am the Library Media Specialist at T.R. Simmons Elementary School. I have been teaching for twenty-one years. I received my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from the University of Alabama. Roll Tide! I also received my Master's degree and Educational Specialist degree in Library Media Specialty from the University of West Alabama. Education and literacy is a top priority for me. Nothing is impossible when you can read and work hard. Being a librarian at T.R.S. is the most amazing job in our district. Sparking an interest in literature and developing lifelong readers is part of my amazing career. I love to see my students grow, learn, and develop a love of reading and learning.
