~Memorial Park Elementary School begins student ID badge implementation on December 11, 2024~
After product and integration delays, Jasper City Schools is proud to introduce a new student ID card system. Student IDs feature multiple measures to promote student safety and provide services to our students. Each ID includes the student name, grade level, school, and photograph. Additionally, a QR code provides students with secure and convenient access of our network. Furthermore, the student cards have a UPC code that is used for our child nutrition program and library media services. Lastly, each card is embedded with a chip that integrates with our transportation system. This provides the bus driver with an accurate roster, route, and health information for each student on their bus. Jasper City School is one of only a few school districts in the state to utilize this Zonar technology. This would not be possible without the support of our parents and the Walker Area Community Foundation. More information will follow from each school as we begin implementation. Memorial Park Elementary School begins implementation December 11, 2024. Other schools will be soon to follow.
